Speaking in an interview with NEWS.ru, the director of the Ivan Ilyin Higher Political School at the Russian State University for the Humanities proposed the measure for all cultural works. Dugin stated that every film, picture, and cultural phenomenon where there is no family and where a person acts alone as an individual should face the strictest censorship.

Future of Individualist Characters

The philosopher noted that individualist heroes could be returned to cinema later, once the issue of preserving family values in the country is no longer so acute. He added that perhaps certain separate individuals could be brought back at that point.

Dugin previously expressed support for a new youth trend known as friction-maxing, which involves giving up the benefits of modern civilization in pursuit of greater control over one's own life and a fuller existence.
