Greek broadcaster Action 24 will launch an updated news and current affairs schedule on Monday, August 31, featuring expanded daily political and sports coverage.
The commercial television channel announced that its autumn programming will deliver comprehensive reporting across politics, the economy, society, and sports throughout the week.
Weekday broadcast lineup
Daily news coverage on Action 24 begins every weekday at 06:00 with Morning Zone, presented by Nikos Ypofantis and Alexandra Kaymenou. Dora Koutrokoi and Giorgos Grigoriadis take over at 09:50 to anchor Action Now.
Ioanna Vassou presents the station's Midday News Bulletin at 13:00, covering major developments across Greece and internationally. Early evening coverage begins at 18:30 with the premiere of Off the Pitch, a new sports show hosted by Virginia Dikaioulia that examines the personal and professional lives of sports figures.
Sotiris Xenakis returns to host the Main News Bulletin at 18:50. The flagship broadcast features reporting, live connections, and structured news analysis.
Evening talk shows and weather
At 20:00, journalists Katerina Douka, Nikos Eleftheroglou, and Fofi Giotaki team up for Next Move, a new informational program designed to analyze key events and outline potential political developments.
Political talk show Behind the Lines returns to the schedule at 22:00, hosted by Giorgos Pierros, Eleni Kalogeropoulou, and Dimitris Takis. The late night program continues its focus on political debate and analysis.
Meteorologist Tasos Arniakos joins Action 24 for the new season. Working alongside Dimitris Papaioannou, Arniakos will deliver daily weather forecasts covering all regions of Greece.

Weekend broadcasting under the new schedule begins on Saturday, September 5. Broadcasters Dimitris Kampourakis and Dona Droutsa present Action Weekend every Saturday and Sunday at 06:00, blending news reporting, analysis, commentary, and humor.
Tjeni Krystallakidou anchors the weekend Midday News Bulletin at 13:00 on Saturdays and Sundays. Meanwhile, Athina Soutzou presents the Main News Bulletin across the weekend, anchoring broadcasts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings.
