The exchange rate of the dollar in Peru again registered a record price this Monday, closing at 3.96 soles, after closing at 3.90 last Friday, although the price is still 0.76% lower than that which occurred at closing of 2021, according to data from the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP).
The beginning of the financial week was marked by an upward trend, given that the green currency began the day at an exchange rate of 3.93 soles, which contrasted with the opening on Friday at 3.88 soles.

For its part, the interbank exchange rate closed at an average of 3.94 soles, after reaching a maximum of 3.96 and starting from a minimum of 3.91, indicated the issuing entity.
The central bank specified that the price variation in the last 12 months has fallen 0.24%.
The euro falls below 1.01 dollars and approaches parity
The exchange rate of the dollar had suffered a decrease of 0.3% in 2019, but then in 2020 it reached a rise of 7.4% after the crisis due to the covid-19 pandemic, and in 2021 the increase was 12, 1%, after the results of the general elections in the country.
Exchange houses in Lima sold the dollar at an average price of 3.97 soles and bought the green currency at 3.92 soles during this day. (YO)
