At least 4 people have died in new nightly bombing raids on kyiv. An attack by Kremlin troops on a shopping center in Podilskyi, in the capital, caused a large explosion and subsequent fire that has burned dozens of vehicles from the adjacent car park, as well as the structure of the center itself.

As explained by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in kyiv, a total of 63 firefighters and 11 units They are working on extinguishing the flames, which would have reached the third and fourth floors of the shopping center.

“As a result of the enemy shelling, a fire broke out in the parking lot and in the shopping center (…) The nearest fire and rescue units arrived at the scene immediately. Upon arrival, the fighters established that as a result of the shelling (…) that four people were killed and one was injured,” they detailed.

The journalist Alberto Sicilia has verified the attack through a video on his Twitter account where you can see the impact of the projectile and the shock wave of the Russian bombardment, which would have been felt at least 9 kilometers away from the place.

According to Ukrainian authorities, at least 228 people have died in kyiv, including four children. The deceased, to whom the victims of the latest attack would not have been added, are the result of the continuous bombardments that the Moscow army has been causing on civilian buildings in the capital for a week now.
