In the study, which included surveys of more than 80,000 medical experts in 27 countries, it also indicates that only one hospital in the top 10 positions in the ranking is occupied by a center that is not located in North America or Europe.

The United States has about 6,100 hospitals, ranking third in the OECD for the number of health facilities. It is only surpassed by Japan and Colombia, according to a Statista report.
