“With Ukraine there is a neighborly relationship, but there is a racist vision in Europe’s behavior”

EH Bildu’s MEP, Drilling Auger, referred this morning to the attitude that the European institutions are maintaining towards the refugees from the war in Ukraine in comparison with the people arriving from Africa or the Middle East. “There is a neighborly relationship with Ukraine, we are culturally close, but there is also a somewhat racist view of Europe’s behavior,” she pointed out during a interview granted to the program “Egun on Euskadi” of ETB1.
