The Mexican government authorities have modified the list of travelers who do not need a visa to enter their country; however, they clarified that even if they are not asked for a visa, foreigners must have a valid passport so that they canors migration officials allow them access. This was reported by the web portal Viva Usa.
For its part, from the social networks of the National Institute of Migration of Mexico they published a link that will allow users to have more information regarding these modifications in the visa application.

However, they advanced that the visa will not be required for resident citizens of the United States, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, Chile, Colombia, Peru and the countries of the Schengen area.
Likewise, they reported that travelers who have a valid visa issued by these governments will not need this document either, according to the National Institute of Migration (INM).
On the other hand, they explained that the maximum length of stay for tourists or business travelers with and without a visa in Mexico is 180 days.
Mobile consulate in Ecuador
On February 18, a mobile consulate began to operate in Guayaquil for the issuance of visas for trips to Mexico.
The authorities reported that the office was installed in the Municipal Civil Registry located in the Martha de Roldós citadel, on Juan Tanca Marengo Avenue.
They also reported that Mexico was not requiring a visa from Ecuadorians to enter its territory, but since September 2021 it began to require the document after registering a significant flow of Ecuadorians.
