Last Friday the 4th, the countries of the world fearfully followed the occupation of the largest nuclear power plant in Europe located in Zaporizhia (Ukraine), at the hands of Russian troops.
As reported by Kiev, Russian projectiles that hit the atomic plant in the early hours of Friday caused a fire in a building and a laboratory, which was later controlled by rescuers.
A video verified and published by El País shows the tension that was experienced inside the plant when the Russian troops opened fire.
“Stop shooting immediately. They are endangering the safety of the whole world. The operation of a crucial part of the Zaporizhia plant could be impaired and we will not be able to fix it”warned a voice through loudspeakers.
In another video, some minor damage can be seen in the corridors of the nuclear complex and also ammunition on the floor.

“We have survived a night that could end history. The history of Ukraine. The history of Europe”, declared Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky, referring to the attack on the nuclear power plant.
an explosion in Zaporizhia It would have been equivalent to “six Chernobyls,” added Zelensky, referring to the catastrophe that occurred in 1986 at that plant located in Ukraine itself, but when this country was part of the Soviet Union.
The international community has condemned this attack, but for the Russian ambassador, Vassily Nebenzia, what happened in Zaporizhia “is part of a campaign of lies” against Russia, and blamed the Ukrainian authorities for the attack and for creating “artificial hysteria”.
