Scammers continue to use love to trick their victims. In the style of the Netflix documentary The Tinder scammer, a man posed as a doctor and married fourteen women in India. This was reported by the news portal RT news.

According to what was published by the news channel, the man’s name is Ramesh Chandra Swain, he is 65 years old and has cheated on women for more than 40 years. They also reported that Swain allegedly asked his wives to lend him money or transfer it to his bank account before he disappeared.

The man said that he needed to travel a lot around the country for health and his profession; in this way he cheated and justified his long absences at home.

How the hoax was discovered

Swain was discovered when one of his wives was struck by the number of messages from women reaching her husband, so he decided to call the women. He contacted three of them and all claimed to be the spouses of her husband.

The Police reported that, at the time of the arrest, Swain had fourteen bank accounts, in addition to eleven credit cards. To this day, the sum that the false doctor stole from his wives is unknown. (I)
