Ukrainian government sources say the Russians are destroying civilian infrastructure and killing civilians. Intense clashes are taking place in the streets.
The Chairman of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Sineguboc, reported this Sunday that Russian troops have managed to break through to get to the center of Kharkivthe second largest city in Ukraine.
“There has been an advance of Russian enemy vehicles in Kharkov, including the central part of the city,” Sineguboc explained, asking citizens to stay at home.
“Please stay home. The situation in the city is very tense“, the mayor of Kharkov, Igor Terekhov, has also requested, after stressing that they are taking place intense clashes in the streets of the cityaccording to statements collected by the Ukrainian agency UNIAN.

The State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine has confirmed the information, they have recommended the population to go to shelters and have assured that “they will destroy the enemy”.
“We fought in Kharkov, Russia suffers casualties. There is already information about the first vehicle of the Russian occupiers that broke into Kharkov that has been destroyed. The fight continues” they have spread, along with two videos with armored vehicles on fire.
“The Russian occupiers actively send sabotage and reconnaissance groups that they are destroying civilian infrastructure and killing civilians in big cities” have denounced, as an oil deposit in Vasilkov, southwest of Kiev, and a gas pipeline in Kharkov.
They have also denounced that the Russian troops “use military units and subdivisions, made up mainly of Caucasians”, referring to the chechen troopsin order to “intimidate the population”.
