four truckers of a Ukrainian-Spanish company are blocked in Ukraine due to the Russian invasion of the country, being practically incommunicado due to the Russian “interference” and “sabotage”according to the National Federation of Transport Associations of Spain (Fenadismer).
The Ministry of Transport has enabled a rescue protocol to find these truckers, with whom have not yet been able to contact. These cuts in communications, together with the collapse of traffic, are making it difficult for them to be repatriated.
From the General Directorate of Land Transport (DGTT) they claim to be in contact with the National Committee for Road Transport and the associations that make it up to find out about any incident related to the conflict in Ukraine that affects road transport companies or Spanish professional drivers, putting at your disposal any action that the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda can carry out.
“The collapse of roads and communications, with attacks by the Russian army, interference and sabotage is making it very difficult not only for these trucks and drivers to leave, but mere communication with them“, collects Fenadismer.
