A tense scene was experienced on Ukrainian television when a journalist unhesitatingly punched a pro-Russian politician in the face when he refused to condemn the position of Vladimir Putin.
In the video, we see Yuriy Butusov, the journalist, launching himself at Néstor Shufrych, all before the gaze of the former Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko. According to the ‘Daily Mail’, Poroshenko accused the politician of being “a Russian agent”.
Meanwhile, this Saturday the authorities of the self-proclaimed republics of Donetsk and Lugansk they have announced the state of general mobilization that imposes the activation of all reservists and the transformation of the economy with a view to an armed conflict.
“I urge my compatriots who are in the reserves to go to the offices of military registration and enlistment“, said the leader of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Denis Pushilin, in a recorded statement.
The tension of recent months due to the accumulation of Russian troops on the border with Ukraine, added to the consequent intensification of NATO operations, have once again overwhelmed the conflict in the east of the country, which confronts the Kiev authorities with these two separatist zones, related to Russia.
