The Moroccan Government imposed since last Thursday the vaccination pass to enter different spaces.
Several dozen people protested today in Rabat against the Government’s decision to impose since last Thursday and without notice the obligation to present the certificate of vaccination against covid to enter public buildings, as well as restaurants and leisure centers.
Videos broadcast on social networks and in local media show protesters chanting slogans against the vaccination pass, amid a large presence of the security forces.

The Moroccan government imposed since last Thursday the vaccination pass to enter public buildings, schools, restaurants, hotels, sports halls and other private spaces, as well as to move between cities.
The surprising nature of the measure, which was notified from one day to the next, caused nervousness among citizens in public transportation, and a large influx of vaccination centers, where long queues were seen, according to the country’s media. .
Several anonymous appeals circulated on social networks calling on citizens in different cities to go out to the streets to protest against the imposition of the document.
This is the first protest against the new Government of Aziz Ajanuch, on the eve of the first appearance of his Minister of Health, Jaled Ait Taleb, before the House of Representatives (low) to answer the questions of the deputies about the related measures with the vaccination campaign.
With a population of 36 million inhabitants, Morocco launched a massive vaccination campaign last January (which includes age groups from 12 years old) that has allowed more than 21 million people to be fully immunized.
Currently, and after suffering a third wave this summer that left up to a thousand deaths a day, Morocco now has lower rates of infections and less than a dozen deaths every 24 hours.
The Moroccan Ministry of Health also launched the administration of the third dose of the vaccine for all citizens. (I)
