During the early hours of this Sunday, the La Cisterna commune, in the south of Santiago de Chile, experienced long hours of fright when at 01:00 a large fire started in a gas factory.
According to Chilean media, the authorities indicated that due to the event, it was decided to evacuate 1,500 people who live in apartment towers near the factory at dawn.
Carabineros reported that these buildings had no damage, but one house was completely destroyed. As of this morning, no injuries were reported.

Claudio Toro, commander of the Metropolitan Fire Department, told the media emmol that there were explosions and that cylinders and trucks could still be seen, so they were operating under considerable danger, which continues, and that 25 companies from the entire Metropolitan Region had arrived at the scene.
