American Erin Jackson became the winner. She covered the distance in 37.04 seconds. Silver went to Japan’s Miho Takagi, who was 0.08 seconds behind Jackson. The 30-year-old Russian closed the top three winners, 0.17 seconds behind the leader.
Golikova won the 17th medal for the Russian team at the 2022 Games. Now the national team has four gold, five silver and eight bronze Olympic medals.
Earlier, on February 13, Russian short track skater Konstantin Ivliev won a silver medal in the 500 meters at the Beijing Olympics.
The Beijing Olympics will run until February 20. Domestic athletes compete at competitions under the auspices of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC).
