Robert Palazuelos denied allegedly having been a participant in the murder of two people 21 years ago. The information was released on social networks through a conversation with Yordi Rosado in which, according to his own statements, during an attack he would have acted with a firearm in self defense.
In recent days, a part of the interview that Yordi Rosado did with Roberto Palazuelos a year ago has circulated on social networks, in which the businessman mentioned that he supposedly he and other people who accompanied him killed two subjects.
Currently, Palazuelos is a candidate for the governorship of Quintana Roo for him Citizen Movement and explained his controversial statements he made a year ago during said talk, denying the fact that he would have killed someone with a bullet.
“I will start by telling you that a video is circulating right now (…) that it is a situation that happened in 2001, 21 years ago, and that we had been arriving from a place in the Miguel Hidalgo delegation in Mexico City, where we were attacked by a group of people who came to shoot us”, the actor began his story.
Palazuelos confirmed the fact of having fired with a firearm during said attack; however, he assured that the pistol had his registration and, in addition, it would have been given to him by a general of the National Army.
“An escort, an Army soldier, repelled the aggression, killed one of the people. Me I fired a shot in the air. My weapon was a registered weapon, a weapon from the Secretary of National Defense, granted by an Army general. Who was the head of government at that time was Mr. Andres Manuel Lopez Obradorthere was a terrible insecurity in Mexico City,” Palazuelos mentioned.
The actor, and now a politician, denied the fact that with that bullet he killed one of his attackers and also emphasized that he he has no criminal record and that on that occasion he acted in “legitimate defense”.
And it is that in the first months of 2021 Yordi Rosado published on YouTube the interview he did with Palazuelos, in which the actor pointed out that in 2001 he went to a parking lot in Mexico City, he was accompanied by an Army lieutenant and of a friend of Colombian origin whom he described as “mobster”. He related that on that occasion he and his companions they were carrying guns during a shooting which left two people dead. (I)
