One person died and another was injured in a shooting that occurred this Monday in a supermarket in the city of Richland, in the state of Washington (United States), where the shooter is wanted by the authorities, according to the city police.
The Richland Police Department responded Monday to several calls about a possible active shooter at the Fred Meyer supermarket in the city, located in the southeast of the state.
The first local media reports reported that at least one person was injured inside the place. But Dennis Morris, chief of the Benton County Coroner’s Department, told CNN that he had been notified of at least one person dead at the supermarket.

At least one injured person was sent to the hospital, added the Richland Police, who asked on their Twitter account for the public’s help in locating the suspect or establishing his identity. The ad is accompanied by a photo showing a white man wearing a black mask pushing a grocery cart.
Police warned that “the man should be considered armed and dangerous.”
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Control (ATF) said in a statement that its agents are investigating and assisting local authorities in this case.
