Shopping gallery floor catches fire in Peru after a New Year’s product falls

A fire broke out this Thursday in a shopping arcade in the center of Lima, without victims, near the Mesa Redonda area, which burned in a gruesome fire 20 years ago with more than 300 deaths.

The fire consumed the last floor of a gallery located in the Andahuaylas shred, where a warehouse of plastic products operated, and demanded the presence of dozens of units of the firefighters to be able to control the fire.

Until now there are no reports of fatalities or injuries, despite the fact that the firefighters fought with the merchants to prevent them from entering the affected gallery to recover their merchandise.
