German Christian Democrats threaten EU countries. “Bild”: “Data is a devastating.

According to the tabloid of “Bild” “CDU/CSU politicians want to receive EU funds from countries that do not accept migrants sent from Germany in accordance with the Dublin regulation.

The German tabloid writes about “tricks” that Bulgaria is supposed to use to bypass the Dublin regulation. Pursuant to the regulation, the EU country in which the immigrant will cross the EU border is responsible for considering the asylum application. Bulgaria “is up to the acceptance of the so -called Dublin cases, i.e. migrants who are registered in Bulgaria, but they came to Germany. According to the Dublin rules, Bulgaria is required to accept these migrants back” – writes the daily “Bild”.

As he says, in 2024 the Germans asked Bulgaria to read 8090 migrants, and only in 3297 Bulgaria agreed. Ultimately, only 290 migrants were actually sent back. That’s about 4 percent.

“Case? No! Bulgarians are played by Germany! Also in the case of many other EU countries (e.g. Italy, Greece, Croatia), the data is devastating” – writes the newspaper. Referring to his own findings, “Bild” reports that Bulgaria has created a “legal monster” to prevent the sending of migrants from Germany. He claims that this country “accepts only two collective transfers a week with the EU chartered aircraft.” The maximum number of people transported by chartered aircraft was set for ten per week from all over the EU. Transfers can take place from Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:00 in the afternoon. Flights must be announced at least seven -day in advance ” – says” Bild “.

“The Commission must act”

According to CDU/CSU politicians, with whom the newspaper talked, these “Games” should be laid. The vice -chairman of the CDU/CSU Parliamentary Club Andrea Lindholz demands the organization of more frequent deportation flights for migrants who go to Germany through other EU countries. “Bulgaria should rather take ten flights, not ten people a week. Something must change,” said Lindholz. However, until so many EU countries respect the Dublin rules, the Germans are only left to act on their own, he adds. “And this means turning back on the borders of anyone who wants to enter Germany illegally,” writes “Bild”.

According to the Gazeta Chadecki, the Prime Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia, Hendrik Wuest wants to “screw the screw” to those countries that refuse to apply Dublin principles. “Those who celebrate the rules can no longer benefit from financial benefits in the EU,” he said. This would mean collecting EU funds.

CSU Markus Ferber is a similar opinion. He believes that the responsibility for taking action in this matter rests with the chairwoman of the European Commission. “The commission, and headed by Mrs. von der Leyen, must ensure that Bulgaria will follow the Dublin rules. All instruments should be used to enforce this,” says Ferber, quoted by “Bild”.
