The procedure in the Bank of the Nation can take approximately 65 calendar days, provided there are no observations or oppositions. Once the application is submitted, the FONAVI Technical Secretariat will publish the names of the accredited beneficiaries, giving a period of 45 calendar days so that other possible heirs present claims or accredit their right.

It is important to highlight that the procedure is free and does not require intermediaries. In addition, if the heir is a person with disabilities or interdiction, his support or curator must carry out the procedure by presenting the corresponding documentation that proves his designation.
