He explained that expenditure increases are to be carried out at the level of individual EU countries, but also at the institutional level of the community and at the banking level.

Tusk only confirmed: News from Paris are not new, the prime minister only confirmed earlier information about the excessive deficit procedure. Ursula von der Leyen last Friday said that she would propose the so -called escape clause, which will enable the loosening of the rules according to which the budget deficit may not exceed 3 percent. GDP. The same clause has already been launched during a pandemic. On Monday, before Tusk’s speech, deputy finance minister Paweł Karbownik said that Ursula von der Leyen supported Poland’s proposal regarding the exclusion of defense expenses from the assessment of deficit and debt. The Karbownik also said that it is both about equipment expenses, but also about expenses for new soldiers.
