Ticks are relatively small arachnids that can be very dangerous. Due to warm winters, they activate quite early, and sometimes we can come across them even throughout the year. Contrary to appearances, we will not meet them only in the forest, because they also often feed on local lawns and in home gardens, where they are particularly attracted by some plant species. They create ideal conditions for development for them, so it’s definitely better to avoid them.

Ticks prefer shaded and moist places. For this reason, they even love to hide in ground cover plants, forming a dense and compact surfacewhere it is difficult to see them. In addition, they often live on:

  • lush, growing bushes,

As you can see, in the fight against ticks it is important not only to choose the right, but also regularly care for the garden. Do not hesitate with mowing grass, collecting leaves or pruning shrubs, as they can attract uninvited guests.
