“My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all of my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term. My first decision as the party’s nominee in 2020 was to elect Kamala Harris as my vice president,” she wrote on her official X account.
“It was the best decision I ever made. Today I want to offer all my support and backing for Kamala be our party’s nominee this year. Democrats: It’s time to unite and defeat Trump,” held.
