The former speaker of the United States House of Representatives and influential Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi has warned the US presidentJoe Biden, who will lose the election for the White House and will drag Congress with him, CNN revealed on Thursday. This private conversation would add to those that Biden has also had along the same lines with the Democratic leaders in the Senate, Chuck Schumer, and in the House, Hakeem Jeffries, Pelosi’s successor.

Both Schumer and Jeffries warned Biden that his candidacy endangers the current Democratic majority in the Senate and hampers the recovery of the House of Representatives, according to The Washington Post. These three conversations occurred last week, before the assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump, but it was not until the last few hours that they were leaked to American media.

Pressure on Biden to drop his candidacy and abandon his re-election aspirations has grown since the face-to-face debate in late June with his Republican rival, former President Trump, from which he emerged badly damaged.o.
