The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced early this Sunday a “tactical pause for humanitarian purposes”daily and lasting eleven hours, along a route through southern Gaza, without prejudice to the continuation of its military operations in the rest of the area.

This “pause”, which will take place every day from 08:00 to 19:00, affects one route which begins at the Kerem Shalom pass, on the border with Egypt, and continues north along the Saladin road, surrounding the city of Rafah to the European hospital, near the city of Khan Yunis, as announced by the Israeli Army it’s a statement.

However, the Israeli Army spokesman, Daniel Hagari has warned that this decision does not imply “the cessation of fighting in the south of the Gaza Strip and the fighting in Rafah continues”.
