From left to right, in total they are 34 parties that are presented in Spain to the European elections in 2024, between classic formations and coalitions adapted to the European context. But not all of them, not even remotely, will reach the European Parliament. According to surveys, only a few will be represented in the Brussels chamber. Citizens, for example, it seems that it will disappear and will lose the seven seats it held until now and that they could be among those who will win the Popular Party (PP), whom practically all the polls place as election winner.

While Ciudadanos was the third most voted party in 2019, it is expected that in 2024 the Third position in Spain is occupied by Santiago Abascal’s far-right party, Vox, with Jorge Buxadé at the helm. Under a motto in line with its declaration of intentions — ‘They are going to hear us’ —, Vox presents a program for European women focused on the fight against what it considers illegal immigration or against the 2030 Agenda.

And although Ciudadanos also appears, the truth is that whoever voted for the orange party in 2019 seems to will do it with a different formation this time.
