As part of the agreements, Arthur Grand will pay civil penalties and compensation to affected individuals, review its employment policies and provide training on compliance with federal laws.
The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), the oldest Hispanic civil rights organization in the US, deplored the fact.
“It is a shame that private companies require this level of oversight to maintain basic decency. In the absence of concrete evidence of change, we must assume that such discriminatory practices will persist,” LULAC lamented.
