Several people have been arrested this Friday first thing in the morning Stockholmthe capital of Sweden, after a series of shots were recorded near the Israeli embassy in the country, an incident that comes as protests against Israel for its offensive in the Gaza Strip spread.
The Swedish security forces have launched an operation in the vicinity of the diplomatic legation headquarters and have announced the carrying out of records at multiple addresses located in the capital, according to information from the newspaper ‘Aftonbladet’.
The Police have thus reported that several officers were patrolling in the Strandvagen area when they heard the shots around 2:00 (local time), although has initially ruled out the presence of victims or injured.
However, the authorities have opened a preliminary investigation for a serious weapons crime and the area is cordoned off while the forensic experts finish their investigations.
