Neymar, forward of the Saudi Al-Hilal, has sent humanitarian aid with his private planes to the victims of the floods in the south of Brazil, an action that he shared this Tuesday to encourage donations for that region of the country.
“I don’t like to publish everything I do or what I help with, because those who do it… do it from the heart and not out of commitment. So this message is to encourage people to help even more”said the star of the Brazilian team in his X profile.
Neymar, 32, accompanied his comment with some images in which a hangar appears with several of his aircraft surrounded by humanitarian aid with products such as water and food.
The former Santos, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain player thanked the pilots of his planes for their work in transporting aid to Rio Grande do Sul, the state most affected by the overflows of tributaries and which borders Argentina and Uruguay.
“Our Brazil is going through a delicate moment and helping NEVER hurts, regardless of your financial condition, what matters is what you carry in your heart”, he expressed.

The attacker, who is recovering from a serious knee injury in Saudi Arabia, said that “He is praying from a distance that everything will return to normal“, while his father, Neymar da Silva Santos, “take care of everything and give all possible help” to the victims.
According to the latest report from the Civil Defense, the torrential rains of the last week in Rio Grande do Sul have caused at least 90 deaths, 132 missing and nearly 1.4 million affected.
The historic flooding of several major rivers has wreaked havoc on 388 municipalities, including Porto Alegre, the regional capital, and forced almost 200,000 people to leave their homes due to flooding.
Brazilian authorities are focused on rescuing survivors who are still isolated, while working to guarantee energy and water to the population.
In the neighboring state of Santa Catarina, one death and material damage have also been reported in several of its municipalities due to the strong storm, which is expected to continue in the coming days.
