Argentina indicated that it made available to Brazil a brigade composed of twenty troops and canines from the Argentine Federal Police, as well as logistics experts from the White Helmets Commission, a plane to transport people and cargo and three helicopters for transfer and evacuations. .

The floods caused by heavy rains in southern Brazil have caused at least 86 deaths and 134 missing, according to the most recent balance released this Monday by regional authorities.
The rainfall, which is just beginning to decrease in that southern area, after a week without respite, has affected more than 1.1 million inhabitants of 385 municipalities, who suffer from the lack of food, medicine and basic services such as electricity. and water.
Data from the local Civil Defense indicate that, of that total, 153,824 people have been forced to leave their homes and move to places with family and friends, while another 47,676 are housed in improvised shelters by the authorities.
