Prince William urges businessmen to save Earth from climate crisis instead of organizing space travel

Prince william has again shown its position on the climate crisis and space travel. Thus, he has urged entrepreneurs to focus on saving the Earth and “not trying to find the next place to go live.”

He did so in an interview with the Newscast podcast of the public network ‘BBC’, in which he called make more efforts to “try to repair this planet.”

The Duke of Cambridge made this reflection before presenting the ‘Earthshot’ award, created by himself to recognize personalities who make efforts to save the planet.

In his opinion, it is “quite crucial” that people focus on planet Earth. before “going into space to try to think of solutions for the future”.

Precisely, this Wednesday we learned that the 90-year-old actor William Shatner, world famous for the character of Captain Kirk in the Star Trek series, has become the oldest person to travel to space after boarding the Blue Origin capsule of the founder of Amazon, Jeff Bezos.

In his conversation with the ‘BBC’, the prince has stressed that has no interest in traveling to space due to the carbon footprint of these space flights. At the same time, he has warned that young people increasingly feel “climate anxiety” because they see their future “threatened”.
