The United States vetoed this Thursday, during a vote held in the UN Security Council, the entry of Palestine as a full member of the international organization. A decision that has not prevented the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jose Manuel Albaresinsist on the need for the inclusion of the Palestinian State.

“This is the time to put it into practice. The only way to make that two-state solution irreversible is allowing Palestine to enter the United Nations and recognizing the Palestinian State,” the minister explained after arriving from New York.

He has also assured that everyone in the UN knows this “solution”, despite the veto exercised in the vote by the United States. A recognition of Palestine that, for Albares, would make definitive peace in the East “irreversible.”

“If there are two states we will make the two-state solution irreversible, which is the same as saying that we will make definitive peace in the Middle East irreversible“, it is finished.
