The Iranian Army hinted this Friday that it will not respond to the drone attack it suffered last night, which was allegedly launched by Israel and which caused no damage. Previously, a senior Iranian official assured Reuters this Friday that ““There is no plan for immediate retaliation.” and it has not clarified who is behind of the attack launched in the center of the Persian country.

The attack was attributed by US officials to Israel, however, no one has officially confirmed this information. “The foreign source of the incident has not been confirmed. We have not received any external attack and the discussion is leaning more towards infiltration than towards the attack,” said the Iranian official.

“Thanks to our surveillance, flying objects were shot at,” the commander-in-chief of the Iranian Army, Major General Abdul Rahim Mousavi, told the Iranian agency Defa Press, which specializes in defense. When asked if Iran will respond to aggression, Mousavi has stated: ““Iran’s response has already been seen.”in an apparent allusion to last Saturday’s attack on Israel.

Iranian military authorities confirmed that a drone attack occurred this morning in the central province of Isfahan, which is home to missile production centers and nuclear facilities. “The sound is related to the firing of Isfahan’s defense systems“said the commander of the Iranian Army in the province of Isfahan, Siavosh Mihan-Dust, after Iranian state television reported in the early hours of the morning that “loud explosions” had been heard in that province.

We have had no damage or accidents.”, added the military man. Neither the Israeli Government nor the US Pentagon have officially recognized the operation. However, an Israeli official source confirmed to The Washington Post the air attack that its Army carried out inside Iran. in retaliation for the Iranian bombing of Israel last Saturday.
