At least six people have died in a bombing on the Iranian Consulate in the Syrian capital, Damascusattributed to Israel by the authorities, according to a report by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The Syrian authorities have confirmed several deaths, without specifying more. “We strongly condemn this atrocious terrorist attack against the headquarters of the Iranian Consulate in Damascus that has caused the death of several innocent people,” declared Mikdad, according to the official Syrian news agency, SANA.

The Observatory, an organization based in London but with informants inside the Arab country, has indicated that “Israeli missiles They have destroyed a building attached to the Iranian Embassy” in Damascus.
