A pilot and his co-pilot from the indonesian airline Batik Air they stay asleep at the same time and in full flight for 28 minutes. This event took place on January 25 during a flight from Kendari to the country’s capital, Jakarta. These were discovered after the plane deviates from its route established.
One of the pilots would have warned before taking off that “he had not rested enough.” None of the 153 passengers and four flight attendants who were traveling on board suffered no harm during the journey, according to a report by the Indonesian National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT).
Those responsible for the control centers tried to establish communication with the pilots, who did not respond to the calls. After almost half an hour, they woke up and corrected their course towards the Jakarta airport, where they landed successfully.
