The massacre against the Palestinian population continues. At least seven civilians have died this Monday at dawn after a bombing by the Israeli Army against a house in the city of Rafah, located in the south of the Gaza Strip, and where Israeli troops are expected to launch a ground offensive amid serious international concern about the great number of civilians taking refuge there, estimated to be around 1.5 million people.

Local medical sources have confirmed the death toll in the attack, which also left many injured and missing, and which targeted a family home in the north of the city, as reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA. It is not the only tragedy recorded in the last hours in the territory. Israeli troops also shot dead this Monday a Palestinian minor in a military operation in Ramallah.

The Ministry of Health under the Palestinian Authority has identified the victim as Mustafa Abu Shalbka, 16 years old, and has indicated that he has died from gunshot wounds to the neck and chest, according to a brief statement published on his Telegram channel. Sources consulted by the WAFA agency have indicated that the Israeli military broke into the Al Amari refugee camp, where clashes have broken out.

These murders are added to the many others that have continued to take place in recent days. This Sunday, eight Palestinian civilians were killed and several more injured due to the impact of an Israeli aircraft projectile against a small truck carrying humanitarian aid in Deir al-Balá, in the center of the Gaza Strip. Israeli aviation bombed this civilian vehicle and caused these deaths, according to eyewitnesses cited by the official Palestinian news agency, WAFA.

In addition, three days before, on Thursday, a machine gun attack from Israeli tanks against a crowd waiting for the arrival of humanitarian aid caused a stampede that left 117 dead. On Saturday in that same place another person was killed and 26 more were injured in a new Israeli attack. This Sunday the Ministry of Health reported the death of 90 Palestinians in the last 24 hours, which would add 30,410 deaths since the start of the military offensive Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip on October 7.

The Palestinian authorities warn that the death toll could be much higher, since it has not been possible to count the bodies left under the rubble. To all this We must add 71,700 injured. Likewise, operations by the Israeli Army and attacks by Israeli settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem have left 409 Palestinians dead since these types of actions have increased. In addition, the organization indicates that 2023 has been the year in which the most Palestinians have died, a figure that reaches 507 in the West Bank since it began counting deaths in 2005.
