The candidate of the left, Gabriel Boric, standard bearer of the Broad Front and the Communist Party, would be the winner of the second round of the presidential electionss held in Chile. According to the data, published by the Electoral Service of Chile (SERVEL), Boric would be imposed on the far-right candidate, José Antonio Kast.
Boric has obtained more than 55.7% of the votes with more than 92% of the counted tables, while Kast has taken 44.2% of the votes, and has already recognized the victory of the former student leader. The winner of the second round of the presidential elections will take office on March 11, 2022.
