The Israeli Government has so far not provided the UN written information about the accusations that They implicate twelve members of their agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) in the terrorist attacks of October 7.

In his daily press conference, the spokesman for the Secretary General, Stéphane Dujarric, assured that the UN has specifically requested evidence that incriminates to those twelve agents, but he has not received them.

“Our UNRWA colleagues have requested written information (…) and has not been delivered yet“said Dujarric, who called on the Israeli Government to explain why they did not hand over such sensitive information.

Until now, The UN has opened an investigation and, As a preventive measure, it has fired nine of those allegedly involved; Another of them is dead and regarding the remaining two, he is trying to confirm their identity.

The investigation into the case opened by the UN Department of Internal Affairs could show results within two to three weeksas detailed by the Secretary General António Guterres to the participants in a meeting with the donor countries of the UNRWA (an institution that is financed exclusively with contributions from the member states), sources present at the meeting have told EFE.
