The Caribbean country, the second most visited Latin American destination after Mexico, arrives at Fitur this year after closing 2023 with record numbers: 10.3 million visits, a twenty-one% more than in 2022, with 8,058.670 million tourists arriving by air and 2,247,847 on cruise ships, according to the Ministry of Tourism.

The main source of visitors was the United States (47%)Canada (16%), Colombia (5%), Argentina (3%) and Spain (3%).
