In the United States, they arrest a woman who poisoned her boyfriend because “she did not shut her mouth”

The woman said she had given him enough to shut up, but not enough to make him die.

A 54-year-old woman who was arrested in Jacksonville (northeast Florida, USA) for poisoning the lemonade that her boyfriend drank, who did not die, told the police that he did it because he did not stop talking and no longer he was supporting more, according to local media reported this Thursday.

The events occurred last week, when, after an emergency call, agents from the Jacksonville sheriff’s office appeared at the couple’s home.

As the officers approached the house, Alvis Parrish yelled at them from the porch that he had poisoned his boyfriend because he wouldn’t stop talking.

“Yes, I did … because I wouldn’t shut my mouth,” Parrish told law enforcement officers at his home, First Coast News reported.

As the officers proceeded to handcuff the woman, she went on to say that she had given her enough dose to keep her quiet, but not enough to make her die.

“Do whatever you want, but if you don’t take me (arrested), I’ll kill you,” snapped the woman, who had poured a strong dose of Seroquel, an antipsychotic drug used to treat schizophrenia or bipolar disorder.

When the police asked the victim, in a visible state of lethargy, how he was doing, the man replied that “he did not know why he was so tired.”

The man, who was taken to a local hospital, explained to officers that he did not notice that his lemonade had a strange taste.

The policemen searched the house and found a bottle of lemonade with a powdered substance in the bottom, which corresponded to the aforementioned medicine.

A judge bail Parrish, who now faces charges of poisoning with intent to kill or injure, bail more than $ 50,000, the newspaper added. (I)
