Macron announces a 30 billion investment to reindustrialize France

Among the measures presented by Macron are investments for the construction of small nuclear reactors or the production of electric and hybrid vehicles and construction of the first low-carbon aircraft.

The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, announced this Tuesday an investment of 30 billion euros, within its ‘France 2030’ plan, to reindustrialize the country through the ecological and digital transition.

Specifically, among the measures presented by Macron during the presentation that took place at the Elysee Palace, there is an investment of 1 billion euros for the construction of small nuclear reactors.

“We must fight the battle of innovation and industrialization at the same time to finance our social model. We need a country that produces more“, stressed the French president.

Another objective of this plan is to produce by 2030 almost two million electric and hybrid vehicles, as well as the construction of the first low-carbon aircraft during this period, while another sector that will benefit from this program will be agriculture.
