Mexico signs up to host the 2027 Pan American Games

The Mexican states of Jalisco and Nuevo León raised their hands to replace Barranquilla, Colombiaas the headquarters of the Panamerican Games of 2027.

Panam Sports has not yet commented on the offers from either Jalisco or Nuevo León, and officials from these states have not clarified whether formal steps have already been taken to host the event.
