The French shipping company CMA CGM reported on Tuesday that it plans to gradually increase the number of ships that pass through Suez Canal.
“Some ships have transited the Red Sea. “This decision is based on an in-depth assessment of the safety landscape and our commitment to the safety and security of our seafarers,” CMA CGM said in a statement.
“We are currently drawing up plans for the gradual increase in the number of ships transiting the Suez Canal. “We are constantly monitoring the situation and are prepared to quickly reassess and adjust our plans as necessary,” he added.
