North Korean leader’s influential sister condemns UN meeting on his latest ICBM

Kim Yo-jongthe influential sister of north korean leaderwho serves as deputy department director of the Central Committee of the country’s single party, condemned this Thursday the calling of a meeting of the United Nations Security Council to address its most recent launch of an ICBM.

Kim published a statement through the state news agency KCNA while the meeting was taking place, which ended without consensus due to opposition from China and Russiapermanent members of the organization with whom North Korea has been strengthening its relations recently.
