US says it did not give “approval” to Israeli raid on Gaza hospital

The United States did not give any kind of green light to Israel for its military raid on the main hospital in the Palestinian city of Gaza, the White House reported on Wednesday, adding that such decisions were the responsibility of the Israeli Army.

“We did not give approval to their military operations around the hospital“National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told reporters after the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas claimed that US President Joe Biden was “fully responsible” of the Israeli incursion.
