Ak Bars will sign a contract with American hockey player Mitchell Miller
The Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) club Ak Bars will sign a contract with American defenseman Mitchell Miller. Sport Express reports this.
According to the source, the 21-year-old hockey player became involved in a scandal in his homeland. Information leaked to the media that an athlete bullied a black disabled person at school. The Boston Bruins then terminated Miller’s contract a few days after signing him.
Miller may soon move to Russia. It is noted that Ak Bars expects to sign a contract until 2026. The defender currently plays for the Slovak Liptovsky Mikulas.
In the summer of 2022, Omsk Avangard signed a contract with American hockey player Reed Boucher, who raped a minor girl. The agreement was then extended for another year.
