The Peruvian Foreign Ministry reported that the number of compatriots missing after the Hamas attacks on Israel rose to four.
“The Consular Section reported the cases to the Israeli authorities for their search and location, while maintaining permanent contact with the relatives of our compatriots to provide them with all the necessary support,” he reported through social networks.
However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not provide details of who it is.
Likewise, he indicated that to date 7 compatriots have left that country through commercial flights with the support and assistance of said diplomatic mission. “In the next 2 days, 73 people will join, and then other groups of Peruvians,” he added.

Earlier, the Foreign Ministry confirmed the disappearance of Daniel Levia Peruvian-Israeli doctor who worked in a kibbutz near the Gaza Strip at the time of the bombings, and a second compatriot.
The ambassador of Peru in IsraelManuel Cacho-Sousa, He specified that the identity of the latter is kept confidential at the request of his relatives, in case there was a negotiation in case he was kidnapped.
“Tonight, unfortunately, we have just been called by relatives of Mrs. Rufina Pereyra“She is a fellow Peruvian Israeli who lived here a few years ago and the family has reported her missing.”he indicated Cacho-Sousa, when referring to the third missing compatriot..
He added that once they knew this, they immediately contacted the israeli foreign ministrysince they monitor the situation of all the missing and deceased. “They have made a report between the hospitals and the morgue and they cannot find accreditation for Mrs. Pereyra, because she also had an Israeli identity”he detailed.
The ambassador also indicated that they are registering all Peruvians who are stranded in Israel, who are safe in hotels. He added that they are in permanent contact with them so that they leave that country as soon as possible.
