The president of USA, Joe Bidendetailed this Saturday his call with his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahuin which he condemned the recent terrorist attacks on Israeloffered support measures and issued a warning to the enemies of that country.
Netanyahu previously reported that Bidenlike many other leaders, had called him to tell him that USA is “together with Israel” and “fully supports its right” to “self-defense” after the surprise attack by land, sea and air from Gaza by the Islamist group Hamas.
”(…) I made it clear to the prime minister Netanyahu that we are ready to offer all appropriate support measures to the Government and people of Israel,” said the Democratic leader in his subsequent note, emphasizing that “terrorism is never justified.”
“USA. warns against any other party hostile to Israel seeking to take advantage of this situation. “My administration’s support for Israel’s security is rock solid and unwavering,” he added. Bidenwho is following the conflict with his team and in contact with Netanyahu.
His Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, spoke in the same vein, reiterating US support for Israel’s right to self-defense and saying he was in contact with that Government in a previous message.
American solidarity with the Government of Israel has come from both ends of the political spectrum, as the Republican National Committee (RNC) issued a statement in which it expressed this, although it launched attacks on Joe Biden.
”Less than a month ago, Joe Biden unfrozen $6 billion for Iran, the largest state sponsor of terrorism, and now Israel is once again under attack. Time and time again, Biden’s weakness and appeasement have emboldened our enemies,” said RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.
