At least 632 people have died and 329 have been injured in Morocco after a magnitude 7 earthquakeon the Richter scale shook several cities in the country this Friday night.

Fifty victims have been serious injuries.

All of them are being transferred to various hospitals in the area, as the authorities have indicated in a statement in which they have indicated that the majority of deaths are concentrated in the Al Haouz province, while the second most affected is Taroudantwith 190 dead.

The Moroccan Armed Forces and Emergency and Civil Protection services continue to mobilize resources to care for the injured and affected.
