Brookbrush expert recommends balance exercises to achieve a thin waist
Fitness expert Brent Brookbrush and trainer Kira Stokes give tips on achieving a small waist. His words are quoted by Shape.
Brookbrush noted the importance of correct posture and balance exercises, as they will work areas of the entire body, but primarily engage the transverse abdominis and deep muscles. It is noted that the most effective for achieving a thin waist are jumping, movements simulating throwing a javelin or shot, vigorous punches and kicks, and working with a hammer, since they all involve the core and abdominal muscles.
Stokes added that squats will help work out the abdominal muscles. “As you lower into the squat, you should tuck your belly button in, activating your pelvic floor muscles to protect your lower back, and squeeze your glutes to get your core working as well,” the trainer explained.
Earlier, fitness expert Andrew Tracy spoke about the correct combination of exercises for pumping muscles. According to the expert, the simplest training scheme is to train the upper body separately from the lower one.
